Tokyo Dome Hotel Hosts “Retro Gourmet Fair” Featuring All-You-Can-Eat Japanese-Style Roast Beef and Menus Supervised by Korakuen Restaurant; Also Featuring the Trending Silk-Thread Shaved Ice and a Taco Bar

The Tokyo Dome Hotel (1-3-61 Koraku, Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo) is hosting a limited-time buffet called the “Retro Gourmet Fair,” where guests can enjoy classic Western dishes and Chinese cuisine, through September 30.

Starting with roast beef made from domestic beef, carved right before your eyes, to Spaghetti Napolitan topped with crispy bacon and a soft-boiled egg, pilaf featuring buttery rice and plump, succulent shrimp, and beef steak served with a Hayashi sauce that blends the tartness of tomatoes with the sweetness of onions—we offer a selection of classic Western-style dishes prepared to hotel-quality standards. In addition, the all-you-can-eat selection includes shrimp in chili sauce, red and white mapo tofu, and shark fin noodle soup with Shanghai crab miso—all supervised by “Korakuen Hanten,” established in 1962.

In addition, a “Taco Bar” has been introduced as a hands-on activity that both adults and children can enjoy. With ingredients like braised beef tendon, chili con carne, sausages, tomato salsa, and jalapeño sauce, you can not only mix and match toppings and sauces to create your own original tacos, but you can also turn them into “dessert tacos” with banana, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream.

The lineup also includes the much-talked-about “Silk Thread Shaved Ice,” which you can customize with your favorite toppings, as well as the “Finishing Parfait,” which now features a new summer-limited ramune flavor.
