Toyoko Inn opened the “Toyoko Inn Ube-Shinkawa Station” (1-4-10 Chuo-cho, Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture) on August 6.
Located a 4-minute walk from the station and about a 15-minute bus ride from Yamaguchi Ube Airport, the hotel has 207 guest rooms. It features a parking lot with space for 98 vehicles (500 yen per night, first-come, first-served).
Featuring downlights and new headboards, among other amenities, the guest rooms comply with the company’s latest specifications. The hotel offers seven room types, consisting primarily of 112 single rooms, along with 26 spacious single rooms, 26 double rooms, and 37 twin rooms.
Ube-Shinkawa is an industrial city known for its basic materials industries, such as petrochemicals, cement, and metals. It is also known as a city of art, and in recent years, its train station has served as the model for the final scene of the movie *Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time*.
