The Ginza Line will add 70 trains on weekdays and 58 trains on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, reducing the daytime headway to 3 minutes. The Marunouchi Line will also run at 4-minute intervals between Ikebukuro and Nakano-Sakaue.

Tokyo Metro will implement schedule changes for the Ginza and Marunouchi Lines on September 19.

The Ginza Line will add 70 trains on weekdays and 58 trains on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. During daytime hours, the headway will be shortened from the current 4-minute interval on weekdays and 3 minutes and 20 seconds on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays to a 3-minute interval for both.

Meanwhile, on the Marunouchi Line, 28 additional trains will be added on weekdays and 56 on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. The headway during daytime hours between Ikebukuro Station and Nakano-Sakaue Station will be reduced from the current 5-minute interval to a 4-minute interval.
