JICA’s Co-creation × Innovation Program QUEST aims to foster innovative co-creation projects that contribute to solving challenges in developing countries and Japan by matching diverse actors, including private companies, academia, civil society, and public institutions. For QUEST 2026, we received a truly large number of proposals from both Japan and abroad for ambitious co-creation projects in which diverse actors pooled their respective strengths to address social challenges across various fields.
Following the co-creation theme pitch event held in March, we engaged in repeated dialogue and exchanged opinions with participants. After proceeding with the application and review process, we are pleased to announce that the selected projects have been determined as follows.
