As part of the second phase of its campaign commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Centrair (Chubu)–Honolulu route, JAL is offering Economy Class passengers access to the JAL Sakura Lounge at Chubu Centrair International Airport’s international terminal at a special rate.
While the standard fare is 8,250 yen per passenger per one-way segment, tickets issued between July 30 and March 31, 2027, will be available for 6,050 yen. Even standard Economy Class passengers can pay an additional fee to relax in a sophisticated space before their flight and enjoy JAL’s famous “Original Beef Curry,” among other treats. This offer is available to passengers holding JAL international flight tickets starting with 131 who have booked in eligible Economy Class fare classes (some fares, such as JL8000-series flights and group travel fares, are excluded).
In addition, as a limited-time promotion running from August 3 to 31, a “Special Hawaiian Menu” will be available in the lounge during evening hours. The menu features Yaho Brewing’s craft beer “Yona Yona Ale,” “JAL Special Garlic Shrimp”—jumbo shrimp tossed in a flavorful garlic sauce— as well as the “Special Acai Bowl,” topped with fresh fruit, yogurt, and crunchy granola. This allows passengers to experience the atmosphere of Hawaii even before departure. The menu is available from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
