NEXCO West Japan’s Chugoku Branch and Shimane Prefecture will begin year-round sales of the “San’in Mannaka Izumoji Drive Pass”—available exclusively to ETC-equipped vehicles—starting at 12:00 a.m. on August 17. Applications are being accepted starting at 2:00 p.m. on August 3.
A flat-rate plan that offers great value for road trips from the Kansai region—such as the Shiga/Kyoto or Osaka/Hyogo areas—to eastern Shimane Prefecture (the Izumo region). The plan includes round-trip travel and expressway tolls within the tour area; while you can get on and off the expressway as many times as you like within the tour area, you may only use the round-trip route once each way.
You may apply up to four times per calendar year using the same ETC card (for 2026 only, up to four times between 2:00 p.m. on August 3 and December 31).
