Starbucks Coffee Japan reopened the “Starbucks Coffee JR Shin-Yokohama Station Shinkansen Downbound Platform No. 11” store on June 24 after a temporary closure for renovations. The store is currently takeout-only, and its hours of operation are from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Starting July 28, in addition to mobile ordering and cashless payments in-store, customers can now use code payments with Starbucks Cards registered online (via the official app, website, or LINE). Cash and physical Starbucks Cards cannot be used.
In addition, a “JR Shin-Yokohama Station Shinkansen Downbound Platform No. 11 Store Stamp” has been added to the Store Passport for Starbucks Rewards members. You can earn this stamp by making purchases with a Starbucks Card linked to the app or by placing an order via Mobile Order.
It is also reported that service is scheduled to begin in 2027 on the Shinkansen platforms at JR Nagoya Station and JR Kyoto Station.
