Pokémon Jet “Red” Unveiled! This specially painted aircraft, featuring Pomken—the Fire-type starter from past generations, representing “Wind” and “Wave”—alongside Pikachu, will begin service tomorrow, the 29th.

On July 28, ANA and The Pokémon Company unveiled the actual “Pokémon Jet Red” aircraft to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Pokémon.

To commemorate the release of the Game Boy versions of *Pokémon Red and Green* 30 years ago, the company designed the “Pokémon Jet Red” as the first in a series of specially painted aircraft, followed by the “Pokémon Jet Green” as the second. Preparations are now underway for the third in the series, the “Pokémon Jet Blue.”

The Pokémon Jet Red is a Boeing 787-8 aircraft (registration number: JA819A) used for domestic flights. In addition to Pikachu, it features illustrations of the “Fire-type” Pokémon that become companions at the beginning of each Pokémon game in the series.

On the left side of the aircraft are Chandelure, Hogeta, Focco, Achamo, and Pomken from the new game *Pokémon Wind/Wave*, while the right side features Nyabee, Hibanee, Hinoarashi, Hikozaru, and Pokabu. Pikachu is featured alongside each of these characters.

In addition to specially designed headrest covers, paper cups for beverage service, and cocktail napkins (on international flights only), passengers will also receive stickers featuring an original design.

The Pokémon Jet Red is scheduled to begin service tomorrow, July 29.
