The Matsudo Fireworks Festival Organizing Committee will implement traffic restrictions on surrounding roads in conjunction with the “Matsudo Fireworks Festival 2026,” which will be held on August 1.
On the Matsudo side, the restrictions apply to the section along the Edo River on the “Nagareyama Kaido (Matsudo-Noda Line)” from the Furugasaki Intersection to the intersection near Sakaemachi Nishi 4-chome, and from in front of the Civic Theater to the Edo River Embankment Intersection. The restriction hours are from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
On the Misato side, the restrictions apply to the road along the Edogawa River embankment (from near Yokobori Bridge to near Misato Kindergarten), and the restricted hours are from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
In addition, Kamikatsushika Bridge on the south side of the venue will be closed to pedestrians from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (though it will remain open to local traffic), and the Edogawa Cycling Path will be closed from 3:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on the Matsudo side and from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the Misato side.
