The Kyoto Century Hotel (680 Higashishiokoji-cho, Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture) has begun offering an accommodation package that includes admission tickets to the “Vermeer *Girl with a Pearl Earring* Exhibition: Masterpieces of 17th-Century Dutch Painting—A Miraculous Return to Japan,” which opens on August 21 at the Osaka Nakanoshima Museum of Art.
This one-night stay package includes a ticket with no designated viewing time and a choice of a premium room (4 types) or a suite (3 types), along with a breakfast buffet. Prices start at 37,500 yen per adult per room (prices vary by room type).
By taking the Station Loop Bus from in front of the hotel and then transferring to the Keihan Railway at Shichijo Station, you can easily reach the Osaka Nakanoshima Museum of Art, where you can enjoy numerous masterpieces of Dutch painting, including Vermeer’s greatest masterpiece, *Girl with a Pearl Earring*—on display in Japan for the first time in 14 years—and his early work, *Diana and the Nymphs*.
The eligible stay period is for stays with check-out dates between August 20 and September 27, and the sales period is from August 3 to September 25. As the number of rooms is limited, sales will end once they are sold out. Please note that reservations can only be made through the official website.
