Elecom, in collaboration with Zebra, jointly developed the “Two-Way Stylus”—which can be used on both paper and tablets without changing the tip—and released it on July 31.
Since you can use the same pen tip as a stylus on the iPad without dispensing ink, and as a gel-ink ballpoint pen on paper, it comes in handy in situations where you switch back and forth between digital and analog.
The pen is designed so that tapping the clip extends the tip and turns it on; there’s no need for pairing or mode switching. The tip has a 0.5mm ball diameter, and the pen body contains a built-in magnet that allows it to attach to an iPad for easy transport.
Charging is done via USB Type-C. It supports fast charging, reaching a full charge in about 30 minutes, and provides approximately 7 hours of continuous use. It also features an auto-sleep function that turns the device off after 10 minutes.
