Machamp Sculpture (2nd Floor Hall) In the hall right next to the stairs and escalators leading from the 1st to the 2nd floor, you’ll find a sculpture of Machamp carrying a large number of suitcases. When taking photos, be careful not to step inside the roped-off area. Additionally, if you use your smartphone to “catch” Machamp’s cry via the dedicated website, you can view the airport side story “Pokémon You Meet at the Airport” (details below).
Tatsubay Statues and More (2nd Floor, in front of the security checkpoint) Above the security checkpoint, you’ll find statues of Tatsubay—who dreams of flying—along with Hitokage, Nyohaha, and Eevee. Be sure to check them out from the 3rd floor, where you can also see them from behind. Although it’s a bit hard to hear, if you use your smartphone to capture Tatsubay’s cry via the dedicated website, you can watch the airport side story “Fly, Tatsubay!” (details below). Furthermore, the wall in front of the gift shop is covered with images of Pokémon passing through security! From the gluttonous Pokémon Gombie bringing in lots of berries to Namakobushi holding up its white, hand-like internal organs for the X-ray scanner, there are plenty of non-Flying-type Pokémon depicted as well, so be sure to take a close look at every corner.
