The Wakayama City Port Festival Executive Committee will hold the “74th Wakayama Port Festival Fireworks Display” on July 25. The venue is the 10,000-metric-ton berth at Nakafuto in Wakayama Port.
In addition to the traditional fireworks display featuring approximately 3,000 fireworks, a drone show will be introduced for the first time this year. Five hundred drones equipped with LEDs will fly through the night sky, creating animations and forming words in sync with the background music. The drone show is scheduled to begin at 8:05 p.m., and the fireworks display is scheduled to begin at 8:20 p.m.
Along the food stall street at the venue, visitors could enjoy classic treats like takoyaki, yakisoba, and shaved ice, as well as stalls offering cheese hot dogs, Taiwanese-style sweets, and shooting galleries.
Also, on the day of the event, a festival-style event in collaboration with M!LK will be held simultaneously at “Sunamaru Plaza” within the grounds of Wakayama Castle. Attendees can enjoy activities such as a paid ring toss game where they can win original prizes (no member appearances).
