Mikawa Bay Resort Links (15 Miyazaki Nakamichi-shita, Kira-cho, Nishio City, Aichi Prefecture) opened its summer-only beach park, “Kira Waikiki Beach Slider Park,” on July 24.
This resort hotel, where every room offers an ocean view and which faces the “Kira Waikiki Beach” in Nishio City, hosts this popular event every summer; since its opening in 2017, it has attracted a cumulative total of over 50,000 visitors. A total of six types of inflatable attractions are set up on the sandy beach at the venue, including “Kaiō,” a massive 80-meter-long slide—one of the largest in the Tokai region—and “Kaiku,” a steep slide with an incline of approximately 30 degrees. In 2026, two new attractions—the “Circus Train” and the “Ocean Mini Slider”—were added.
Since this is a special installation at the beach, visitors can freely move back and forth between the ocean and the water slide to enjoy themselves. The venue is fully equipped with cold-water showers, changing rooms, and rest areas, and visitors are allowed to bring their own food and drinks. Infants and toddlers wearing swim diapers are also permitted to use the facility.
Hours of operation are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily (doors open at 9:30 a.m.). Weekday one-day admission is 2,000 yen for adults, 1,600 yen for children, and 1,000 yen for toddlers. On weekends and from August 9 through 17, the rates are 2,400 yen for adults, 1,800 yen for children, and 1,000 yen for toddlers.
In addition to this one-day pass for Slider Park, the hotel is also offering the “Summer Excitement Plan,” a great value accommodation package that includes access to the hotel’s ocean-view open-air hot spring bath, indoor and outdoor pools, breakfast and dinner buffets, and a sunset cruise on Mikawa Bay.
