On July 24, Jackery Japan released the “Jackery Portable Power Station 1000 New V3” as the successor to its flagship portable power station model.
The company has completely redesigned the 1000 New—which reportedly holds the top spot in cumulative sales—for the first time in two years. The new model is 19% smaller than its predecessor, with dimensions of 314 × 201 × 234 mm (width × depth × height). Its weight has been reduced by 200 g to 10.6 kg.
It has a capacity of 1024 Wh and a rated power of 1500 W (peak power of 3000 W), with seven output ports: 3 AC outlets, 2 USB Type-C ports (up to 100 W), 1 USB Type-A port, and 1 cigarette lighter socket.
As a new feature, the device incorporates “Independent AC Circuit Control,” which divides the three AC outlets into two groups that can be turned on and off independently. Since you can switch between power sources using the app or the buttons on the unit while plugs remain inserted, it’s easy to cut off unnecessary power consumption.
It comes in two colors—black and white—and is priced at 109,800 yen. To celebrate its release, various retail sites are offering a 34% discount or distributing 34% off coupons.
