Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture, is selling “Digital Tickets for Himeji Castle Town with a 1,000-yen Coupon” to tourists aged 18 and older visiting from outside the city through October 31.
This package combines an admission ticket to the World Heritage Site “Himeji Castle” with coupons redeemable at 176 locations throughout the city, including restaurants and souvenir shops. The “Himeji Castle Admission Ticket Set” is priced at 2,500 yen, while the “Himeji Castle & Koko-en Garden Combined Ticket Set,” which includes admission to the adjacent Japanese garden, is priced at 2,600 yen. and the “Iejima Tour Set,” which includes a round-trip ferry ticket from Himeji Station to Iejima, an island in the Seto Inland Sea, is 3,700 yen.
The coupon is valid for two days, from the day of entry to Himeji Castle through the following day. Please note that before using the coupon, you must exchange it for a paper coupon at one of the six designated locations, including the “Himeji City Tourist Information Center” and “TiS Himeji Branch” inside JR Himeji Station, as well as the “Northwest Corner of Himeji Castle Sannomaru Plaza” near Himeji Castle.
