The hot spring resort hotel “TAOYA Atami” (190-1 Izuyama, Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture), which opened on July 18, is currently offering a basic buffet plan that includes one night’s stay and two meals. For an ocean-view room occupied by two guests, the regular price starts at 26,500 yen per person.
The former “Oedo Onsen Monogatari Hotel Suihatei,” once a beloved destination in Atami Onsen, has been reborn as “TAOYA,” the flagship brand of the Oedo Onsen Monogatari Group—making it a must-visit this summer. From guest rooms and the lounge to the “infinity open-air bath” in the main bathhouse, guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the Sagami Sea from virtually every corner of the facility.
In addition, the hotel has adopted an “all-inclusive” system, in which most on-site services are included in the room rate; this means that afternoon tea and late-night snacks in the lounge, as well as a wide variety of drinks, are all available for unlimited consumption at no additional charge.
The breakfast and dinner buffets feature a diverse lineup of dishes, including seafood specialties unique to Izu, beef steak served with wasabi sauce, Odawara-style oden, and “Bokumeshi”—a local specialty of rice topped with eel. Guests can also enjoy as much cold beer, local sake, and dessert as they like.
