Peacock Thermos Industries is releasing “Aqua Yellow Glitter” and “Blue Pink Glitter”—new colors in its “Ice Pack” series of portable ice packs—exclusively through its official online store (scheduled to arrive at the Rakuten and Yahoo! stores on July 24–25). The pocket-sized models are priced at 2,980 yen each, and the regular-sized models are priced at 3,480 yen each.
The Ice Pack is a heat-beating product that uses a vacuum-insulated holder to house a silicone ice pouch, ensuring long-lasting cooling and preventing condensation. It is the company’s flagship product, having surpassed cumulative shipments of 1 million units since its launch in 2021, and can be used to prevent heatstroke during commutes, school trips, sports, and outdoor activities, as well as for disaster preparedness.
This release features the series’ first-ever gradient colors with glitter: “Aqua Yellow Glitter,” which evokes images of the summer sea and sun, and “Blue Pink Glitter,” which captures the atmosphere of a beach at sunset. While retaining the product’s traditional ability to stay cold for extended periods, the design has been updated so it can be carried around as a fashion accessory in everyday life.
The pocket size (ABB-S07) measures approximately 4.9 × 4.9 × 14.5 cm and has a capacity of 70 mL, while the regular size (ABB-M15) measures approximately 5.8 × 5.8 × 17.0 cm and has a capacity of 150 mL (both dimensions are width × depth × height).
