On July 22, Navitime Japan revamped its global route map and transit directions app, “NAVITIME Transit,” and launched its eSIM service, “NAVITIME eSIM.”
NAVITIME Transit has been redesigned with an intuitive user interface centered around route maps. The graphics, similar to those in a map app, make it easier to understand spatial relationships. Even when you miss a connection or your plans change, you can now smoothly search for “previous and next schedules” for your selected route. Additionally, in the Taiwan region, a route search feature tailored to the coverage area of tour passes has been rolled out ahead of schedule.
Meanwhile, NAVITIME eSIM supports 136 countries and regions, offering not only country- and region-specific plans but also global plans covering multiple regions.
Rates include 1 GB for 7 days for 680 yen in South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, and other locations, and 1 GB for 7 days for 880 yen in the United States, among others.
