Rakuten Travel is holding its “Special Coupon Week” through July 31, offering discounts of up to 30% on travel reservations. By combining multiple coupons currently available, you can book eligible hotels and hot spring inns nationwide at great savings.

“TAOYA Shirahama Senjo” (1680-1 Shirahama-cho, Nishimuro District, Wakayama Prefecture), part of the Oedo Onsen Monogatari Group, is currently offering a basic buffet plan that includes one night’s stay and two meals. For two guests sharing a room, the regular price starts at 18,600 yen per person.

This inn boasts an infinity open-air bath where the ocean and hot spring seem to blend as one. Guests can enjoy the ocean view while soaking in the inn’s private hot spring, “Senju no Yu.”

In addition, “Senjōjiki,” a scenic spot in the Nanki-Shirahama Onsen area, is known as a prime location for viewing sunsets. Located on a hilltop, this hotel features a lounge, a Mediterranean-style spa garden, a hot spring pool, and a water feature terrace, allowing guests to enjoy the sunset views from virtually anywhere on the premises.

The dinner buffet features an extensive selection of “tuna delicacies” unique to Wakayama, home to Katsuura Fishing Port—which boasts the nation’s largest catch of fresh tuna. The menu also features an abundance of local ingredients, including Nanko-ume plum chawanmushi, tempura made with Wakayama-grown shiitake mushrooms, Kumano beef pizza, and Arita mandarin orange pudding.

Since TAOYA offers an all-inclusive plan, guests can enjoy not only unlimited alcoholic beverages with dinner but also seasonal afternoon tea sweets and late-night snacks served in the lounge—all at no extra charge.
