JR East Cross Station Development Company will release four new types of merchandise featuring JR East’s mascot, the “Suica Penguin,” on its online store “GRANSTA MALL” at 10:00 a.m. on July 24.
The lineup includes two types of T-shirts featuring the “Marunouchi Station Building,” a symbol of Tokyo Station; a die-cut towel with a loop; and a double-walled glass that maintains the temperature of your drink and resists condensation.
Two types of T-shirts are available: “Banana” and “Watermelon.” The “Banana” T-shirt features a glow-in-the-dark design, with a baby penguin gazing up at the starry sky on the front and the Suica penguin sleeping on a banana floating in the night sky on the back. The “Watermelon” T-shirt features a penguin and a baby penguin happily munching on a watermelon on the front, while the back is adorned with large fireworks lighting up the night sky.
