On July 14, JAL and Marriott International entered into a partnership to enable status matches for members of both JAL Mileage Bank and Marriott Bonvoy.
JMB members can now participate in the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program. For example, JMB members without FLY ON status can “earn Silver Elite status by staying 6 nights within 6 months,” and JMB Sapphire members “automatically receive a status match to Silver Elite and can achieve Gold Elite status by staying 10 nights within six months.”
Meanwhile, Marriott Bonvoy members can earn FLY ON points by linking their accounts; for example, Basic members receive “2,000 FLY ON points per year,” while Gold Elite members receive “10,000 FLY ON points per year.”
