Shirahama Koga no I Resort & Spa: Up to 30% off one-night stays with two buffet meals. Enjoy summer fun in the open-air baths and indoor and outdoor pools!

Posted on July 21, 2026 by Editor in Chief

Rakuten Travel is holding the “Rakuten Travel Summer Sale,” offering great deals on summer travel reservations, through July 21. The sale features special packages at hotels and hot spring inns nationwide, and customers can save up to 30% by combining these offers with currently available coupons.

“Shirahama Koga-no-I Resort & Spa” (3212-1 Shirahama-cho, Nishimuro District, Wakayama Prefecture), located in Shirahama Onsen, Wakayama, is currently offering a basic buffet plan that includes one night’s stay and two meals. For two guests sharing a room, prices start at 15,580 yen per person.

The uniquely designed open-air bath juts out over a vast water basin, creating the sensation of floating on the water. At night, it is bathed in soft lighting, offering an experience quite different from that of the daytime.

Dining here allows you to enjoy a Japanese and Western buffet while taking in the view of Shirahama through the glass. In addition to Japanese cuisine prepared by skilled chefs in the live kitchen—including freshly fried tempura, charcoal-grilled seafood, nigiri sushi, and sashimi—the menu also features pasta tossed with cheese and authentic wood-fired pizza.

The indoor pool, which features a spacious open-air terrace, is equipped with a jacuzzi and lounge area. Guests can use the facilities free of charge from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and enjoy it as a night pool from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The hotel also features a summer-only outdoor garden pool, where even children who are not yet ready for the ocean can play safely.
