On July 10, the Japan Tourism Agency, JATA (Japan Association of Travel Agents), and JNTO (Japan National Tourism Organization) began selling advance tickets for “Tourism EXPO Japan 2026.”
Advance tickets are 1,200 yen for adults. Due to rising labor costs and soaring oil prices, admission prices have been raised starting this session; while the on-site price has increased from 1,300 yen to 1,500 yen, purchasing an advance ticket allows you to pay less than the previous on-site price.
On the official website, payments can be made by credit card, as well as through major convenience stores, Jalan, Veltra, Rakuten Travel, and other platforms. Additionally, a new package combining an admission ticket with a Yurikamome one-day pass (1,950 yen for the pass plus the advance ticket) is now available.
As before, pre-registration will allow university and vocational school students and younger to attend for free, and we also plan to invite high school students studying tourism to attend for free on Industry Day.
Tourism EXPO Japan 2026 will be held for four days from September 24 to 27 (with the first two days designated as industry days) at Tokyo Big Sight.
