Ace has released its first-ever foldable umbrella for both sun and rain from the Japanese travel bag brand “Proteca.”
Toray’s “Summer Shield,” used in the main fabric, features a special three-layer structure that reflects sunlight, achieving 100% light-blocking and UV protection. It is said to provide a cooling effect of at least -4°C thanks to its excellent heat-blocking properties.
Some of the umbrella ribs are made from Toray’s high-performance carbon fiber, “Torayca.” This lightweight, highly durable material is also used in fields such as aviation, automotive, aerospace, and civil engineering and construction. The design successfully combines portability with durability.
A drawstring umbrella storage pouch is included. Unfasten the snap to open the pouch, allowing you to store your umbrella loosely without having to fold it neatly. You can also use the drawstring and the included carabiner to hook it onto your suitcase handle.
