The Fire HD 10 Kids Edition is 25% off. Get unlimited access to picture books, encyclopedias, and educational apps, plus a Toy Story stylus for practically free.

Amazon (Amazon Japan) is holding a Prime Day sale on the “Fire HD 10 Kids Edition.” Normally priced at 23,980 yen, it is currently available for 17,980 yen—a 25% discount—as of this writing.

Released in 2023 as the 13th generation (current model), this device is designed for preschoolers ages 3 and up. It runs on a custom Android-based operating system and comes with a one-year subscription to “Amazon Kids+,” which offers unlimited access to children’s content such as picture books, encyclopedias, educational apps, and games (after which a paid subscription is required).

The soft, flexible kids’ case protects the tablet, making it less likely to get scratched even if you accidentally drop it. Additionally, if the tablet gets wet or the screen breaks, you can return it for a replacement within the 2-year limited warranty period.

Parents can set the daily usage time in 15-minute increments, and the service also supports website access restrictions. It includes a feature that generates reports on usage over the past seven days, broken down by category and content type.

The “Fire HD 10 Kids Pro,” which is designed for elementary school students and older, is also on sale; it’s normally 23,980 yen, but is now 25% off at 17,980 yen.

Please note that both the Kids Model and Kids Pro are eligible for the “Bulk Purchase Sale,” and if you purchase the “Disney Toy Story Capacitive Touch Pen” at the same time, you’ll receive a discount equal to the price of that item (1,580 yen).
