Tokyo Disney Resort has added new host cities for the “Tokyo Disney Resort Special Parade.”
The event announced this time is the “Utsunomiya Junior Chamber 60th Anniversary & Utsunomiya City 130th Anniversary Commemorative Parade,” to be held on November 15 in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture. The parade route will run from the Kamikawara Intersection to the Ikegami-cho Intersection. The start time has not yet been determined.
In the “Tokyo Disney Resort Special Parade,” Disney characters join local children in livening up the festival to the upbeat tune of “Jamboree Mickey!”
In addition, the Duffy Bus—whose body is wrapped in the same fabric as the Duffy plush toy—will be on display at Utsunomiya Castle Ruins Park on the same day. The event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (tentative).
A special vehicle featuring the “Duffy & Friends: Find Your Beautiful Blue!” design, created to commemorate “Tokyo DisneySea’s 25th Anniversary: ‘Sparkling Jubilee’,” will make its debut. Visitors can take photos and touch the soft, fluffy exterior of the vehicle.
