“Koko Shiga,” Shiga Prefecture’s information hub, is launching the “Koko Shiga Travel Discount” campaign, which offers a discount of up to 10,000 yen per person on travel costs, including accommodations and Shinkansen fares.
The booking period is from June 29 to March 10, 2027, and the stay period is from check-in on July 10 to check-out on March 20, 2027.
For trips that include accommodations in the three northern cities (Nagahama, Takashima, and Maibara), the discount is 6,000 yen per person if the total travel cost is 30,000 yen or more, and 10,000 yen per person if the total travel cost is 50,000 yen or more. Additionally, for trips that include accommodations outside the three northern cities, a 3,000-yen discount applies if the travel cost per person is 30,000 yen or more, and a 5,000-yen discount applies if the travel cost per person is 50,000 yen or more.
Eligible travel packages can be purchased online, in person, or by phone. In-person sales locations include the Hankyu Kotsu-sha Shimbashi Service Center (1st Floor, KHD Tokyo Building, 3-3-9 Shimbashi, Minato-ku, Tokyo), the Hankyu Kotsu-sha Yokohama Service Center (11th Floor, TS Plaza Building, 2-23-2 Tsuruya-cho, Kanagawa-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture), and the Hankyu Kotsu Saitama Reservation Center (18th Floor, Cino Omiya North Wing, 1-10-16 Sakuragi-cho, Omiya-ku, Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture).
In addition, 40% discount coupons are being distributed for taxi fares used for travel within Shiga Prefecture. These coupons can be obtained from the Shiga Prefecture information hub “Koko Shiga” or the Omi Taxi website.
