Mitsui O.S.K. Cruises Renames Its Membership Program “Mitsui Ocean Club”; Limited-Time Benefits, Including 40% Off Cruise Fares for New Members, Also Available

Posted on July 9, 2026 by Editor in Chief

Mitsui O.S.K. Cruises, which operates the cruise brand “MITSUI OCEAN CRUISES,” has renamed its membership program, previously known as the “Dolphins Club,” to “MITSUI OCEAN CLUB” and revamped its benefits.

At the newly revamped Mitsui Ocean Club, the criteria for determining membership tiers have been changed from the previous “number of cruises” to the “cumulative number of nights” spent on cruises. Along with introducing new membership tiers—including the option to join even without a cruising history—the club has also expanded the range of available benefits.

In addition, if you become a new member between July 3 and September 18 and book a cruise on a Mitsui Ocean Cruise ship for the first time, you’ll receive a 40% discount on the cruise fare. This discount applies to 21 cruises on the Mitsui Ocean Fuji departing between July 30 and December 13. It cannot be combined with other discounts or benefits.

As part of our standard new member benefits, first-time passengers receive 10,000 yen in onboard credit to use on their first cruise. Additionally, on their second cruise, they receive a 10% discount on the cruise fare.

Discounts on cruise fares are available based on membership tier. Diamond members receive a free cruise benefit of up to 4 nights for every 100 nights stayed, starting from the 250th night. In addition, for members at the Bronze level and above, priority booking dates are set according to membership tier when new itineraries go on sale, allowing them to book before general sales begin. They also receive priority boarding and disembarkation at check-in and disembarkation.

In addition, members at the Bronze level or higher will receive discounts at onboard shops and spa facilities based on their membership tier. The company also plans to invite members to exclusive onboard events, such as cocktail parties and afternoon tea.
