Tokyo Disney Resort will host “Summer Cool Off at Tokyo Disney Resort” from July 2 to September 14. Ahead of the event’s opening, a Baymax-shaped popcorn bucket will go on sale starting July 1. I managed to get my hands on one right away, so I’ll show it off with some exclusive photos.
The design features Baymax holding popcorn and Mochi looking as if he wants to eat it; the figure is quite large. Baymax is protecting the popcorn so that Mochi can’t eat it, and his face and left hand—which is holding the popcorn—are movable.
If you look closely at the energy level indicators on their chests, you’ll see that Mochi has the highest level, followed by Baymax eating popcorn. When you’re tired from playing at the park, be sure to eat some popcorn to restore your energy.
Regular popcorn (3,100 yen) is sold at both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. At Disneyland, you can purchase it at the popcorn wagon next to The Gazebo in Adventureland, and at DisneySea, you can purchase it at the popcorn wagon next to Aquatopia in Port Discovery.
BB Popcorn (3,300 yen) is available exclusively at Big Pop in Tomorrowland at Tokyo Disneyland. Sales locations and dates are subject to change.
