I Tried the Limited-Edition Jungle Cruise! This Summer at Disney Is Packed with Highlights, Including the First-Ever “Get Soaked” Version of Gadget

Posted on July 2, 2026 by Editor in Chief

This year, in addition to the water parade, the attractions themselves have been revamped into special summer-only versions. There are plenty of new and different ways to have fun.

I actually tried it out myself, and since the captain’s commentary has changed almost entirely, it’s definitely worth the ride! Plus, after the cruise, you’ll receive a “sticker as proof that you’ve learned the most important thing in the jungle” (one of three random designs). Be sure to stick it on your chest and show it off!

First up is the “Jungle Cruise: Wildlife Expedition” tour, which is being held for the first time this year. True to its name, this attraction takes you on a boat ride through the jungle. Through the behaviors of wildlife—such as elephants and hippos living along the riverbanks, and tigers and crocodiles encountered inside mysterious caves—captains who are passionate about the jungle will share with you “the most important thing in the jungle.”

Jungle Cruise is offering a limited-time tour! Will you get a gift if you join the jungle crew?

“Gadget’s Go-Coaster” Gets Its First “Soaked” Version!

Another highlight is “Gadget’s Go Coaster” in Toontown. Actually, starting this year, they’re offering a “soak-you-to-the-bone” version for a limited time.

This attraction is an acorn roller coaster created by Gadget, the genius inventor from Toontown. Though small and cute, it offers unbeatable speed and thrills. With Gadget—a recycling expert—themed items scattered along the queue line, you can enjoy the ride while feeling like you’re the size of a mouse.

I tried it out for myself, and just as the name suggests—and even more than I imagined—I got absolutely soaked! Jets of water shot up from all over the place, and this limited-edition version was full of that playful, gadget-like charm you’d expect. I also recommend riding it at night.

In addition, Toon Town hosts its annual “Soak ‘Em All” event. With so much water that the surrounding area is shrouded in mist, it’s a blast—so if your whole family wants to get soaked, don’t hesitate to head over here!

In addition to the two attractions mentioned above, there are also special summer-themed versions of attractions like “Splash Mountain: ‘Get Even Wetter!’” and “Country Bear Theater: ‘Vacation Jamboree.’” Be sure to enjoy these special, refreshing experiences that are perfect for the hot summer season.
