Tokyo Disney Resort will host “Summer Cool Off at Tokyo Disney Resort” from July 2 to September 14. With the sweltering summer heat upon us, Baymax has delivered a special ice cream to the park, so I went ahead and gave it a try.
It’s called “Happy Hero Baymax Ice Cream, Yogurt Flavor” (500 yen). The Baymax-shaped container holds a refreshing yogurt-flavored ice cream.
The packaging features an outstanding comic-style design reminiscent of the ending sequence from the movie *Big Hero 6*. It includes illustrations of San Fransokyo and Baymax waving in response to the “barara-ra-ra-ra” hand-waving signal. On the side, you’ll also find the smiling face logo familiar from the summer daytime entertainment show “Baymax’s Mission Cool Down.”
The first bite immediately cools you down with the gentle flavor of yogurt—I’ll definitely be buying this again. The crunchy texture of the soda jelly added a nice touch, too. It comes with a lid, which is a great feature for families with young children.
