Tokyo Summerland’s outdoor pool complex opens fully on July 4. It features 17 attractions, including the thrill-packed “Monster Stream” and “Decasura.”

Tokyo Summerland (600 Kamidaitsugi, Akiruno City, Tokyo) will fully open its outdoor pool area on July 4.

The highlight is “MONSTER STREAM,” an adventure-themed pool that combines a wave pool and a lazy river. The course is approximately 210 meters long with a water surface area of 1,260 square meters, and guests can enjoy the thrill of riding down the course on special inner tubes through intense waves and currents that resemble a mountain stream.

Other attractions include “DEKASLA,” where riders glide down a massive course in a dedicated rubber boat designed for 4 to 5 people; “Towers Rock,” a water slide where riders descend from a height of 20 meters in a rubber boat; “dobon,” a slide that sends riders plunging into the water; and “Aqua Fan,” a water play area where 1.2 metric tons of water cascades down all at once from a giant barrel overhead—just a few of the many water attractions visitors can enjoy.

To enter the park, you must purchase a “1-Day Pass (Date-Specific)” in advance, either as an e-ticket or a convenience store voucher. Prices vary depending on the period: adults 4,100–5,600 yen, junior high school students 3,500–4,900 yen, elementary school students 2,800–3,900 yen, and preschoolers and seniors 2,100–2,800 yen. Same-day tickets are not available.
