To commemorate its 45th anniversary, Tobu Zoo (110 Suga, Miyashiro-machi, Minami-Saitama District, Saitama Prefecture) is undertaking a major renovation of its “Tobu Super Pool”—the first such renovation in 36 years since the pool opened in 1990—and will reopen it this summer on July 18.
With “SAFARI COAST” as the new theme, the facility will create a safari-inspired atmosphere by incorporating animal-themed decorations throughout the pool area. The facility’s official logo will also be redesigned for the first time in 36 years.
In terms of facilities, the depth of the “Wave Pool” has been reduced from the previous 1.5 meters to 1.2 meters so that families can enjoy playing in the water safely and with peace of mind. Furthermore, to address recent heat waves and meet the needs of families with young children, we have installed air-conditioned changing rooms and a new outdoor “baby care room” equipped for breastfeeding and diaper changes.
As part of the entertainment lineup, the “Water Illusion”—a spectacular show featuring 11 water cannons shooting water high into the air to the tune of classic summer songs—is held daily. On weekends and holidays, the “BLAST STAGE” performance, featuring the park’s mascot characters, also takes place.
In 2026, the park will be open daily from July 18 to August 31, as well as on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays in September. Operating hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. The price of the standard ticket, which combines park admission and pool admission, varies by day: adults (18 and older) pay 3,800 to 4,100 yen; junior high and high school students pay 2,800 to 3,000 yen; and children (ages 3 to elementary school) range from 1,800 to 2,000 yen.
In addition, for a limited time through June 30, we are offering a special “45th Anniversary Summer Vacation Weekday Early Bird Pass” (admission + unlimited rides + pool access) at a discounted price: 3,245 yen for adults, 2,970 yen for teens, and 2,365 yen for children. Advance tickets are available on “Asoview!” and other platforms.
