The “Tohoku Tourism Free Pass & Fukushima’s Breeze of Happiness Set Plan” has been extended through December. Enjoy unlimited expressway use for 4 days for 6,000 yen.

Posted on June 30, 2026 by Editor in Chief

NEXCO East Japan’s Tohoku Branch, the Miyagi Prefectural Road Public Corporation, and the Fukushima Prefecture Destination Campaign Executive Committee will extend the sales period for the ETC-exclusive “Tohoku Sightseeing Free Pass · Fukushima Wind of Happiness Set Plan” until December 25 (excluding the Obon holiday, Silver Week, and three-day weekends).

This pass has been available since January to coincide with the launch of the Fukushima Prefecture DC “Shiawase no Kaze Fukushima.” By visiting just one of over 100 participating facilities across the prefecture—including tourist attractions, hands-on experiences, lodging, and hot springs—users can enjoy unlimited access to expressways in the Tohoku region for up to four days. Although the pass was originally valid through June 30, it has been extended due to its popularity.

You can choose between the “Tohoku 6 Prefectures Tour Course” (8,500 yen for standard cars; 6,800 yen for light vehicles and motorcycles) or the “Fukushima-Miyagi Tour Course” (6,000 yen for standard cars; 4,800 yen for light vehicles and motorcycles). At select participating facilities, you can also enjoy benefits such as discounts and free gifts.

Applications are being accepted on the NEXCO East Japan website, “Dorapura.”
