JR Tokai will sell the “Shizuoka Youth ★ Outing Ticket (Trip to Tokyo Disney Resort)” from June 18 to August 28, continuing the program from last year. The valid travel period is July 18–August 6 and July 17–30, expanding from 14 days to 34 days. A limit on the number of tickets sold will be set for each start date.
A ticket that allows middle school through college students (including junior college, graduate school, and vocational school students) to travel round-trip in standard-class non-reserved seats on the Tokaido Shinkansen “Kodama” train for approximately half the regular price. For example, the ticket price for the Shizuoka–Tokyo route is 6,000 yen, saving the passenger 5,880 yen compared to the regular fare.
The pass is valid for two days and covers round-trip travel from five stations in Shizuoka Prefecture (Mishima, Shin-Fuji, Shizuoka, Kakegawa, and Hamamatsu) to Tokyo Station. Passengers cannot board the train partway along the route, alight at intermediate stations, or ride the “Nozomi” or “Hikari” trains. Additionally, the pass cannot be used on conventional lines (such as the Tokyo–Maibara route).
To be eligible for this offer, you must have already purchased a park ticket for Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea, and you must present both your student ID and your ticket when purchasing or changing your ticket.
Tickets are available at the “ticket counters” and “assisted reserved-seat ticket vending machines” at Shin-Fuji Station and at stations along the Tokaido Main Line (between Kannami Station and Shin-Tokohara Station), the Gotemba Line (between Gotemba Station and Numazu Station), and the Minobu Line (between Fuji Station and Nishi-Fujinomiya Station).
