Nishitetsu and Bohcho Kotsu will run a special summer discount campaign for their express bus service between Fukuoka and Nagato/Hagi (the “Hagi-Nagato Otsure” bus) from July 13 to August 31.
Last summer, service on this route was extended from Fukuoka City to Nagato City in Yamaguchi Prefecture, and then further to Hagi City. To commemorate the first anniversary of this extension, the fare for the Fukuoka–Nagato section will be 3,000 yen all day (normally 4,000 yen Mon–Thu and 4,500 yen Fri–Sun and holidays), and the Fukuoka–Hagi section will be 3,500 yen all day (normally 4,500 yen Mon–Thu, 4,900 yen Fri–Sun and holidays).
As a special benefit for passengers, you can receive a 200-yen discount on the “Sozoro-aruki Ticket”—a set of coupons valid at shops and facilities in the Nagato-Yumoto Onsen district—as well as a free “HAGI Travel Pass,” a coupon booklet valid at restaurants, souvenir shops, tourist attractions, and day-trip hot springs in Hagi City.
Online reservations can be made through Highway.com and Hassha Orai Net. Telephone reservations are accepted at the reservation centers of Kyushu Expressway Bus and Bocho Expressway Bus. Tickets are sold at the Hakata Bus Terminal and the Nishitetsu Tenjin Expressway Bus Terminal.
