The “Fugaku Liner,” a direct bus service between Mishima Station and the 5th Station on the Fujinomiya Route, will operate during the summer. New routes via Safari Park and Gurinpa will also be introduced.

Fuji-Q City Bus operates the “Fugaku Liner,” an express bus that connects Mishima Station to the 5th Station on the Fujinomiya Route in approximately 90 minutes, on a seasonal basis. The service runs from July 10 to September 10. One-way fares are 3,500 yen for adults and 1,750 yen for elementary school students and preschoolers. Reservations can be made via the “Hassha O-Rinet” website.

The Fugaku Liner began operating in 2025 as a summer-only express bus. By providing a direct, transfer-free connection from the station to the Fifth Station, it reduces travel time by 30 minutes compared to conventional route buses. Since it operates on an advance reservation system using cashless payments such as credit cards and PayPay, passengers are guaranteed a seat and can board smoothly on the day of travel without the hassle of buying a ticket.

This season, the number of round-trip services will increase by two compared to last year. Furthermore, to meet the needs of not only hikers climbing Mount Fuji but also leisure travelers, new routes via “Fuji Safari Park” and “Gurimpa” will be introduced. In addition to providing access to the 5th Station at the Fujinomiya Trailhead, these routes can also be used to travel to nearby tourist attractions.
