“TAOYA Nikko Kirifuri” (1535-1 Tokono, Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture), part of the Oedo Onsen Monogatari Group, is currently offering a basic buffet plan that includes one night’s stay and two meals. For two guests sharing a room, the regular price starts at 25,000 yen per person.
Located at the foot of the nature-rich Kirifuri Highlands in the Nikko area—which is dotted with famous sights such as the World Heritage Site Nikko Toshogu Shrine, Kegon Falls, and Lake Chuzenji—this hot spring resort offers a serene retreat. From the open-air baths at an elevation of approximately 1,000 meters, guests can enjoy a breathtaking infinity view that stretches across the sky and the forest.
At the dinner buffet, a lavish selection of dishes—including beef steak, summer-exclusive eel nigiri, Tochigi-style yuba dishes, pan-fried gyoza, and “Tochiaika” brand strawberry roll cake—is lined up along a live kitchen that stretches approximately 35 meters.
