Takarajimasha’s 1970s-style retro “Hello Kitty” eco-bag goes on sale today. It comes with a storage pouch featuring ribbon embroidery.

Takarajimasha will release “HELLO KITTY Retro Eco-Bag & Ribbon Pouch BOOK” today, June 24. The price is 3,498 yen. It will be available at bookstores and online retailers.

This issue includes a free eco-bag featuring Hello Kitty and her twin sister Mimi, illustrated in a nostalgic 1970s art style. The bag is large and spacious with a wide gusset, allowing you to securely carry lunch boxes, prepared foods, and drinks, and it comes with an elastic closure that lets you fold it up compactly when not in use. The set also includes a pouch with ribbon embroidery that can be used to store the eco-bag.

The ribbon pouch can be used on its own to hold small items such as lipstick and earphones, and since it features a gold lobster clasp, it can also be used as a bag charm.

The eco-bag measures approximately 30 × 14 × 32 cm, and the pouch measures approximately 13 × 5 × 9 cm (both width × depth × height). The booklet also includes cut-out notes and origami sheets.
