At-In will open “Super Sauna Ichinomiya” (31 Ipponmatsu, Keuju, Yamato-cho, Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture), a men-only hot bath facility, in the fall of 2026.
This facility is a renovation of a dilapidated super sentō. With no time restrictions on use, it features five types of saunas, four types of cold plunge pools, and three types of hot baths, making it one of the largest sauna facilities in the Tokai region. By eliminating the cramped spaces and time constraints typical of downtown saunas and deliberately making it men-only, the facility aims to create the “ideal sauna paradise” that men seek.
The five signature saunas include “Mori,” an authentic banya sauna modeled after a Russian steam bath, built using rare kelo wood—known as the “jewel of the forest”—and set to a high temperature of approximately 90°C. “Netsu” is the facility’s largest stadium sauna, where the “Aufguss” hot-air event takes place at a temperature of approximately 80°C. “Kiri” is a white, circular mist sauna filled with steam at approximately 60°C. “Mei” is a steam sauna at approximately 60°C equipped with a hose for localized cooling, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in prolonged meditation. Additionally, carrying on the tradition of the famous Tanabe Thermal Spa in Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture, the facility has introduced a specially crafted “Herbal Barrel Steam Sauna” made from Aomori hiba wood.
There are a total of four types of cold baths: an extremely cold bath (commonly known as the “Single”) at 7–9°C, a standard cold bath at 14–17°C, a room-temperature bath at 22–24°C, and a bubble bath at 22–24°C. For hot baths, we offer a total of three types: a standard hot bath and a jet bath in the indoor area, and a high-concentration carbonated bath in the open-air area.
The rest area, designed for guests to enjoy the post-sauna “rejuvenation,” features a total of 47 chairs in the outdoor and indoor relaxation areas, providing space for approximately 50 people to use the facility at the same time. The facility also offers 50 different types of daily rotating event programs, such as “heat waves,” ensuring that guests can enjoy a unique sauna experience every time they visit.
Admission is 2,000 yen on weekdays and 2,500 yen on weekends and holidays; an additional fee of 1,800 yen (for a 2-hour session) is required for the “Herbal Barrel Steam Sauna” only. Hours of operation are from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. the following day (last admission at midnight), and the facility is open year-round except during equipment maintenance. Parking is available for 150 vehicles.
