“my route,” a travel app (Android/iOS) operated by Toyota Financial Services, will begin selling a digital version of the “Toki-Tetsu Tour Pass”—a discounted ticket—starting July 1.
This pass offers unlimited rides for one day on the entire Echigo Tokimeki Railway line, which runs through the Joetsu region of Niigata Prefecture. This marks the first time that transportation tickets for the Niigata area have been sold on my route. The fare is 2,400 yen for adults and 1,200 yen for elementary school students.
You can purchase a digital ticket via the smartphone app and use it on the day of travel by showing the ticket displayed on the app to the conductor at the ticket gate or on board the train.
