Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Atami: Up to 30% off 1-night stays with 2 meals. Enjoy the fireworks display from a room with an ocean view, and the venue is just a short walk away.

Rakuten Travel is holding a “Special Coupon Week” through June 30, offering discounts of up to 30% on travel reservations. By combining multiple coupons currently available, you can book eligible hotels and hot spring inns nationwide at great savings.

“Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Atami” (8-3 Sakimi-cho, Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture), located in Atami Onsen, is currently offering a basic buffet plan that includes one night’s stay and two meals. For a Superior Japanese-style room with a direct ocean view, the regular price starts at 17,600 yen (per person, based on double occupancy).

This inn is popular for its ocean-view lobby and guest rooms, and guests can enjoy its large communal bath, open-air bath, and semi-open-air bath, all designed in a modern Japanese style. It’s about a 50-minute trip from Tokyo, and since it’s just a 7-minute walk from the lively shopping street in front of Atami Station, it’s recommended as a base for exploring the town and sightseeing in Atami.

The “Atami Maritime Fireworks Festival” is held more than 10 times a year in Atami City. The hotel is located just a 5- to 10-minute walk from the venue (Atami Sun Beach), and because it sits on a slight hill, guests can enjoy the fireworks even from rooms facing the ocean.

The dinner buffet features a wide variety of dishes, ranging from Izu-exclusive delicacies such as house-made fried horse mackerel and seared red-eyed snapper sushi, to freshly roasted beef served from the live kitchen, summer-exclusive items like conger eel tempura and eel nigiri, and a diverse selection of desserts.

Another great perk is the all-you-can-drink selection of cold beer and other beverages at the “Premium Lounge” at the back of the lobby and the “After-Bath Lounge” adjacent to the large public bath.
