Rakuten Travel is holding a “Special Coupon Week” through June 30, offering discounts of up to 30% on travel reservations. By combining multiple coupons currently available, you can book eligible hotels and hot spring inns nationwide at great savings.

“Kusatsu Onsen Yori no Yado Takamatsu” (312 Kusatsu, Kusatsu-machi, Agatsuma District, Gunma Prefecture) is currently offering a “Jōshū Wagyu Teriyaki” package that includes one night’s stay and two meals. For two guests sharing a room, the regular price starts at 11,000 yen per person.

Located just a 4-minute walk from “Yubatake,” the symbol of Kusatsu Onsen, this hotel allows guests to enjoy strolling through the hot spring town while soaking in the waters from the Yubatake spring and savoring seasonal kaiseki cuisine.

For dinner, the main course is Joshu Wagyu beef cooked on a ceramic plate, and the meal also features a seasonal kaiseki meal prepared with local and seasonal ingredients. For breakfast, guests can enjoy a Japanese and Western-style buffet at “Kibōmine,” the dining room on the top floor.

Drawing water from the “Yubata” spring—considered the highest quality among the many hot springs in Kusatsu—this hotel’s hot spring facilities feature two large public baths, “Izumi” and “Megumi,” which alternate between men’s and women’s use, as well as private baths available for a fee. The water is cooled by exposure to the natural air, allowing guests to bathe in 100% pure hot spring water. Each large bath features several types of indoor baths as well as open-air baths.
