Takarajimasha will release the September 2026 special issue of “otona MUSE” on July 28. The price is 1,890 yen. It will be available at bookstores and online retailers.
The special supplement included with this issue is a collaboration between Kinokuniya and Hello Kitty: an insulated bag that keeps contents cold or warm. The all-over pattern features the “KINOKUNIYA” logo—embroidered for a luxurious look—surrounded by images of Hello Kitty enjoying her shopping, and the bag also has a zipper closure.
It’s a moderately compact size—approximately 35 × 13 × 35 cm (width × depth × height)—making it easy to use for everyday purposes. It can hold a 2-liter plastic bottle upright, and with its gusseted sides, it can securely hold groceries and refrigerated items. It’s also recommended for summer outings and picnics.
In addition, the September 2026 issue of “otona MUSE,” which goes on sale at the same time, comes with a lightweight, large Kinokuniya × Hello Kitty shopping bag as a bonus item. The price is 1,860 yen.
