JR’s “Adult’s Holiday Club Pass,” offering unlimited rides for five consecutive days, goes on sale today for the early summer period. Even just a round trip between Tokyo and Shin-Aomori saves you 14,400 yen.

JR East has been selling the first installment of the 2026 fiscal year “Otona no Kyujitsu Club Pass”—exclusively for members of the Otona no Kyujitsu Club—since May 22. The pass is valid from June 22 to July 4.

The Adult Holiday Club Pass is an unlimited-ride pass that allows unlimited travel on eligible routes operated by JR East and JR Hokkaido for five consecutive days. You can choose from three eligible areas: East Japan, East Japan and Hokkaido, or Hokkaido. The pass is valid for unreserved seats in standard cars on Limited Express, Express, Rapid, and Local trains, and allows up to six trips in reserved seats.

For Green Car tickets (Ekinet exclusive), you can use up to six rides in either standard reserved seats or Green Car. However, for GranClass and Premium Green Car, the fare is valid only for the fare itself.

Tickets are available at Ekinet, reserved-seat ticket vending machines at major stations, Midori no Madoguchi ticket counters, and Station Travel Concierge desks. Payment can only be made with the “Otona no Kyujitsu Club Card” (credit card) at all of these locations. Prices on Ekinet are more affordable than those at individual stations.

For example, a round-trip ticket from Tokyo to Shin-Aomori (standard class) costs 34,400 yen for Middle members (5% discount), but with the Adult Holiday Club Pass, it costs 20,000 yen (a savings of 14,400 yen).
