On June 17, the Japan Association of Travel Agents announced its new leadership structure. Yuji Hara, Representative Director and Chairman of Kaze Travel Agency, will assume the position of 14th Chairman.
Mr. Hara graduated from the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Letters, Keio University in March Showa 57. After joining the Tokyo Metropolitan Government that same year, he worked at several companies before establishing Kaze Travel Agency Co., Ltd. in Heisei 3. He has served as its Representative Director since October of that year. His involvement with JATA began in Heisei 16, when he was appointed to the Executive Committee; he has served as a Director since Heisei 24 and as Vice Chairman since Reiwa 3.
