JAL Card and JAL Payment Port launched the “JAL Pay・JAL Card Charge Program” on June 10, which allows customers to earn Life Status Points (LSP) in addition to miles. The program will run through March 31, 2027, and no prior registration is required.
Cardholders can earn 1 LSP per month by loading at least 40,000 yen from their JAL Card to JAL Pay each month and making at least one in-store contactless payment using JAL Pay set up with Apple Pay or Google Pay, or at least one online payment via Apple Pay.
JAL Pay is a mobile payment service widely accepted at Mastercard merchants both in Japan and abroad. By combining it with top-ups from your JAL Card, you can earn LSP points more efficiently than ever before—whether for everyday purchases at convenience stores and restaurants or for payments while traveling overseas.
