Huis Ten Bosch (1-1 Huis Ten Bosch-machi, Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture) has announced that it will open its first roller coaster in 2027.
The special webpage launched on June 16 revealed the concept as the “Scenic Coaster,” stating, “At the top of the ride, the view that unfolds before your eyes—whether by day or night, or even at the very moment the sun sets—is a beautiful European townscape that will remain etched in your memory. It is a new symbol of Huis Ten Bosch, designed to deliver an unprecedented experience found nowhere else,” building anticipation.
The park will open “Miffy Wonder Square,” the world’s only Miffy-themed area, in 2025, and in April 2026, it will introduce “Evangelion: The Ride -8K-,” Japan’s first Evangelion-themed 8K ride attraction. The newly announced “Scenic Coaster” is said to be a major project representing the largest investment since the park’s opening.
