The GREEN×EXPO Association has announced the list of vendors for “GREEN×EXPO 2027” (the 2027 International Horticultural Exposition), to be held in Yokohama in 2027. The newly selected vendors include 16 food and beverage outlets and 16 retail stores. Details such as each vendor’s concept and menu will be released in due course.
Numerous companies and organizations that operated restaurants, cafes, and other establishments at the Osaka-Kansai Expo have received provisional job offers. For example, Shirohato Food Industries, which operated multiple outlets including “Osaka Noren Meguri”—the largest food court on the grounds—and “Rapoppo Farm,” which gained attention for its “Myaku Myaku Yaki”; and Maneki Foods, which made headlines for its “Ultimate Eki Soba” priced at 3,850 yen per bowl.
Lisboa, a wood-fired bread bakery in Kochi that previously operated the restaurant “Mar de PORTUGAL—Just Like Portugal” at the Portugal Pavilion, has opened a café called “Mar de PORTUGAL” in partnership with Portugal Trade. Located in the “SATOYAMA Village” area at the back of the venue, the café will serve coffee and wine, with a focus on the pastel de nata (egg tarts), which were a hot topic at the Expo.
Three convenience store chains—FamilyMart and Lawson, which had booths at the Expo, as well as Yamazaki Baking, which operates Daily Yamazaki—have been tentatively selected.
In addition, local companies and organizations headquartered or based in Yokohama have also announced their participation. These include Ariake, known for its famous “Yokohama Harbor” confection; Sakiyoken, famous for its shumai bento; Yokohama Vanilla; and TDM 1874 Brewery, a craft beer brewery operated by Sakaguchiya.
